Deaf Ministry
God has given us a great burden to reach the deaf. Thailand has around 54,000 deaf people. We are the only church in our area with translation for the deaf, and as far as we know, there is only one other Baptist church in Thailand with translation for the deaf.
The city of Tak has a deaf boarding school just a few miles from our church. We have been able to hand out tracts and John/Romans there. The students have been very excited about our visits, but they aren’t allowed to leave the school to come to church. We hope to one day have a greater opportunity of outreach there!
We have had a few deaf adults get saved, but our deaf ministry is struggling. We are praying that God will help us know how to better reach these special people!
